Cambios/Changes

Esta semana el tema para lectura y escritura  es ¡puedes hacerlo!, aprendiendo hacer cosas nuevas puede ser una aventura.  La lista de ortografía consiste en palabras con /gl/ o /gr/ seguido por un vocal. En matemáticas vamos a estudiar ecuaciones equivalentes. El miércoles vamos a la biblioteca, también visitamos nuestros amigos de lectura. El jueves en la tarde los niños van a trabajar en el jardín. Viernes durante el recreo del almuerzo es club de corre. Además, el viernes comienza la feria de libros. La fecha para la Casa Abierta y Concierto Primaveral, del primer hasta el tercer grado, se ha cambiado para el lunes 21 de mayo. Los dos eventos serán la misma noche. This week the language arts theme is you can do it, learning to do new things can be an adventure.  The spelling list consist of words with the blend of /gl/ or /gr/ followed by a vowel.  In math we will study equivalent equations.  Wednesday is our library and reading buddy day. Thursday in the afternoon the students will work in the garden.  Friday during lunch recess is running club. Friday is also the start of the book fair. The date for the first to third grade Open House and the Spring Concert has been changed to Monday May 21.  Both events will occur on the same night.
