Para la primera semana de abril la lista de ortografía consiste en palabras con los diptongos /ui/, /ie/, o /ue/. Para lectura el tema es ¿Qué hacen los científicos? Los niños van a escribir una opinión sobre el libro el Gato  ensombrerado. También voy a leer a los niños los primeros capítulos de El Principito. Para matemáticas seguimos estudiando pingüinos para aprender sobre dobles, sumas y restas. Tendremos una prueba de matemáticas el jueves. For the first week of April the spelling list consists of words with the diphthongs /ui/, /ie/, or /ue/. For language arts the theme is what do scientist do?  The children will write an opinion on the book The Cat in the Hat. Also, I will read aloud to the children the first chapters of The Little Prince. For Math we continue to study penguins to learn about doubles, addition and subtraction.
