A Pt. Reyes

Primero quiero felicitar Maestra Ruiz por el nacimiento de su bebé. Esta semana el tema de lectura es Aprendiendo hacer cosas nuevas. Las palabras de ortografía son palabras con combinaciones  /gr/ o /gl/ seguido por un vocal. En matemáticas seguimos nuestros estudios en forma grupos de diez y cien. En ciencia seguimos estudiando plantas y animales esta semana vamos investigar la variedades de plantas estudiando hojas. El jueves durante el recreo del almuerzo es Club de Correr. El martes es la excursión a Point Reyes por favor de no olvidar mandar las niños con un almuerzo. También ropa adecuada para estar afuera y zapatos comidos para caminar. Para el martes hay un probabilidad de 20% de lluvia por la mañana. First I want to congratulate Mrs. Ruiz on the birth of her baby. This week the theme for language arts is Learning new things. The spelling words are word blends with /gr/ or /gl/. In math we will continue to focus on forming and adding groups of 10 and 100.  For science we will continue to study plants and animals. Our focus this week is on plant variation, we will study different types of leaves. Running Club is Thursday during lunch recess. Tuesday is the field trip to Point Ryes. Please send the children to school with a lunch. Students should wear appropriate clothes for being outdoors and good walking shoes. The forecast is for a 20% chance of rain in the morning.
