Super Lector

Hay dos rutinas  nuevas que vamos a comenzar esta semana.  Uno es Super lector en que los niños van a llevar a la casa un libro en una bolsa de plástico. Los  niños deben leer el libro cada noche para mejorar fluidez  y responder al formulario o hacer la prueba de  AR (Accelerated Reader). Es muy importante que los  niños regresen el libro en la bolsa cada viernes.  Como hay varias copias del libro la bolsa ayuda identificar quién ha devuelto el libro. También vamos a tener una lista de palabras de ortografía, cada semana, con una prueba cada viernes. Esta semana la lista concentra en los consientes de /m/ y /p/ con vocales.  La tema de lectura para la semana es ¡Yo soy así! En matemáticas vamos estudiar cómo reconocer  rápidamente cuántos objetos hay en una colección (hasta 10), sin contar desde 1.  El viernes regresamos a la biblioteca, por favor de no olvidar de devolver los libros de la biblioteca. We have two new routines this week. One new routine is Super lector in which the students take home a book in a bag every week. Include with the book is worksheet or AR, (Accelerated Reader), test. the children are to read the book every night to develop fluency, then return the book and the completed worksheet with the bag on Friday. Since multiple copies of books are distributed it is important to return the book with the bag to help identify who has returned the book. We are also going to have a weekly spelling list and spelling test every Friday. This week’s list concentrates on vowel blends with  letters /m/ and /p/ .  The language art’s theme is “This is how I am!”  In math we will study how to quickly recognize how many objects are in a collection (up to 10), without counting from 1.
