Picasso y cubismo

La tema de lectura de la semana es Juntos es mejor seres humanos también los animales pueden trabajar junto y ayudase. Vamos a leer el cuento la Gran Montaña y sobre los hermanos Wright y el primer avión. Las palabras de ortografía son palabras con fl o fr. Para matemáticas vamos a terminar nuestro viaje a antártica done medimos pingüinos y comparamos las alturas de los niños a los pingüinos. El martes comenzamos geometría. La arte de la semana es un estudio de Pablo Picasso y cubismo. Necesito voluntarios para cortar papel en formas geométricas, se puede ser en casa. El viernes los niños van a pegar las formas para crear figuras. En ciencia vamos a estudiar otras maneras de crecer plantas sin usar semillas, vamos usar esquejes de plantas.  En las carpetas de tarea unos van encontrar notas sobre libros perdidos de biblioteca, por favor si no encuentran el libro hay que pagar el libro. Otra manera de reemplazar el libro por Amazon o otra tienda en línea. The theme for language arts this week is it is better together; people and animals can work together. We are going to be reading the story La Gran Montaña and reading about the first airplane and the Wright Brothers.  The spelling word list contains words with either fl or fr. For math we will finish our trip to Antarctica, where we measured the height of penguins and compared the heights of the students to the penguins. On Tuesday we start studying geometry. For art we will study Pablo Picasso and cubism. I’m looking for volunteers to cut geometric shapes at home from construction paper. On Friday the students will glue the shapes together to make figures. In science we will study growing plants without seeds using cuttings.  Some of you may find notices of lost library books, please pay to replace the lost book or purchase a copy from Amazon or another online source.
