Gracias a todos quien ayudaron con Halloween y Día de los Muertos. Esta semana Vecindarios es el tema de artes lingüísticas. Para Super Lector algunos estudiantes van a recibir una versión en papel de la prueba AR. El estudiante debe hacer la prueba en papel en casa y regresar con ello a la escuela para entrar en la iPad.  Si los niños presentan la prueba de AR no hay que hacer la hoja de Super Lector. No todos los libros tienen una prueba de AR.  Para matemáticas vamos a practicar contando y sumando por cinco. El jueves voy a sentarme con alumnos individualmente para ver el nivel de fluidez de lectura y comprensión. Para hacer esta prueba be lectura necesito tener un suplente.  El lunes quiero mandar a la casa el formulario para hacer una sita de conferencia, las conferencias serán en dos semanas. La semana de conferencias despedimos a los niños a las 1:30. Hay una posibilidad que no mande el formulario ni la tarea el lunes como la copiadora está fuera de servicio.  Por favor no dejen que los niños traigan dulce a la escuela. Thank you to everyone who helped on Halloween and Day of the Dead. This week “neighborhoods” is the theme for language arts. For Super Lector some students may receive a paper version of an AR test. The student is to do the paper copy at home then bring it to school to enter on the iPad. If a student takes the AR test, they do not need to do the Super Lector homework. Not all the books have AR test in Spanish. . For math we will practice counting and adding by five. On Thursday I’m going to be sitting down individually with the students to observe them for reading fluency and comprehension. In order to do this reading assessment I need to have a substitute in the classroom. I hope to send out the conference sign up sheet on Monday. Conferences are in two weeks, during conference week school is out at 1:30. Since the copier is out of service there is a possibility I will be unable to send home the sign up sheet and the homework on Monday. Please do not let the children come to school with Halloween candy.
