Esta
semana es la última semana de trimestre, todos deben de haber recibido el verde
formulario con el horario para las conferencias. Los mande a las hogares en la
carpeta del viernes. Si no recibieron uno por favor hágame saber para darles
otra. Por favor de devolver los formularios lo más pronto posible. La primera
semana de conferencias el 7 de noviembre hasta el 10 de noviembre, ese lunes es
día normal, los niños salen a las 2:45. El martes, miércoles, jueves de la
escuela termina a las 1:30. El viernes 11 de noviembre es día feriado no hay
clases. Nuestra tema en lectura es las familias y los vecinos se ayudan. Para
ortografía vamos estudiar palabras con /rr/ o /r/. En matemáticas vamos a estudiar contar por 5 y por 1 usando monedas de un
centavo y cinco centavos. El jueves los maestros de primer grado van a
estar en una capacitación del distrito.
Tengo un suplente hispanohablante. El viernes es el primer día de la feria de libros en la biblioteca.
Además en la tarde comenzando a las 1:15 vamos a tener varios centros para Día

This week is the last week of the trimester,
everyone should have received the green form with the schedule for the

ingles comenzamos a estudiar el tiempo, clima. El viernes es el Fun Run, al
momento no se el tiempo en que los niños van a comenzar a correr, pienso que
será entre las 9:00 y 9:30. Apenas que se la hora les informare por correo

language arts theme is things I like to do with my friends. The spelling list
focus is on blends with /v/ and /ñ/. In
math we will practice addition and subtraction using strategies of doubling,
counting on and counting back. For English science we will start to study the
weather. Friday is the Fun Run, at this time I don’t know what our start time
is. I think our start time will be sometime between 9:00 and 9:30. As soon as I

To start October our language arts theme is pets. I would like students to print a picture of a pet to share with the class. If a student doesn't have a pet they can bring a pet photo from a family member or friend. The spelling list focus is on blends with /b/ and /n/. Tuesday is our field trip to the school, if you volunteered to chaperone please come by the school at 9:30, we will start to walk over to the farmers market at 9:45. Make sure your child has his two dollars to purchase a fruit or vegetable. The Farmer’s Market is at Lucchesi Park, we will eat and play in the park after visiting the market. If you can only join us for part of the time please do so, we will be off campus from 9:45 to 11:45. On Friday we have a special grade wide art project. In preparation for the Fun Run we will tie-dye tee-shirts in our grade level color of yellow. If you want to help please come by the school at 1:45 on Friday.
