El Lazarillo

Gracias por todos los lindos regalos esta pasada semana. Para está semana la lista de ortografía consiste en palabras con  sílabas cerradas con /p/, /d/ o /z/. Está semana los niños van a tener una prueba de escritura. También, voy a leer a los niños extractos de la novela El Lazarillo de Tormes. Los alumnos están leyendo libros más largos para Súper Lector, no espero que lean todo el libro cada noche. Pueden leer el libro en partes durante la semana. Para matemáticas vamos a seguir estudiando el valor de posición entre el rango de 1-120. Los niños van a tener un examen de matemáticas el jueves. Debido a las pruebas estatales para los grados superiores, nuestra hora de la biblioteca cambiará esta semana. La clase visitará la biblioteca el viernes a las 1:30. Como el final del año escolar se aproxima, asegúrese de que su hijo devuelva todos los libros de la biblioteca a tiempo. El 17 de mayo voy a tener un suplente. Voy estar en la escuela, haciendo evaluaciones de lectura. Viernes en la noche de 5:30 hasta las 7:30, habrá una noche de diversión familiar sobre niños y pantallas. Thank you for all the nice gifts this past week. For this week the spelling list consists of words with closed syllables with /p/, /d/ or /z/. The children are going to have a writing test this week. In addition, I will read to the children excerpts from the novel Lazarillo de Tormes. Students are reading longer books for Súper Lector, I don't expect them to read the whole book every night. They can read the book in parts during the week. For math we will continue to study positional value between the range of 1-120. The children are going to have a math test on Thursday. Because of state testing, for the upper grades, our library time will change this week. The class will visit the library on Friday at 1:30. As the end of the school year approaches, make sure your child returns all their library books on time. May 17th, I'm going to have a substitute. I'm going to be at school, conducting reading assessments. Friday night from 5:30 until 7:30, there will be family fun night on children and screens.
