Mami, Mami

Para esta semana regresamos a nuestra rutina normal para lectura. La tema de lectura es diferente maneras de descubrir.  La palabras de ortografía son palabras con vocal y /c/ o /x/. En matemáticas vamos continuar estudiando sumando y restando números de dos dígitos. El jueves los niños van presentar una prueba en matemáticas.  En ciencia, seguimos estudiando cultivando plantas usando tallos. El miércoles a las 1:30 es el te de las madres de primer grado. El jueves durante el recreo del almuerzo es Club de Correr. También el jueves a las 2:00 P.M. vamos a plantar en el jardín con nuestros amigos de lectura. Vamos a plantar las tres hermanas maíz, frijoles y calabaza. En la carpeta del viernes van a encontrar el formulario para el paseo escolar del 23 de marzo. We return to our normal routine for language arts, our theme is different ways to discover. The spelling list consists of words with vowels followed by either /c/ or /y/. In math we continue to study addition and subtraction of two digit numbers.  On Thursday we will have a test in math. For science we continue to study growing plants from cuttings. Wednesday at 1:30 is the first grade Mother’s Tea. Running Club is Thursday during lunch recess. Also on Thursday we will garden at 2:00 P.M. with our fifth grade reading buddies. The students will plant the three sisters, corn, beans and squash. In the Friday folder please look for the permission slip for the next filed trip.
