La última semana/The Last Week

Al fin llegamos a la última semana del año escolar. Esta semana solamente tenemos cuarto días pero lleno de actividades.  El martes es el día de las abejas de miel. El primer grado va aprender sobre abejas y plantar un árbol por la mañana. A las 9:45, 30 niños de primer grado van a plantar un árbol con la maestra Ruiz. Yo voy a tener 17 niños de primer grado, con unos alumnos de kínder, juntos vamos aprender sobre abejas. A las 10:45 cambiamos los 30 con la maestra Ruiz van aprender sobre abejas y los 17 con migo van a plantar un árbol.  Se necesita voluntarios para ayudar plantar los árboles. El miércoles el 1 de junio tenemos una excursión a la biblioteca de Petaluma. Vamos a salir a las 11:00, caminando, los niños almorzarán  en el parque a lado de la biblioteca y regresaran a la escuela más o menos a las 1:40. Si gustan que la cafetería prepare un almuerzo de bolsa para la excursión dime a mas tardar el martes 31 de mayo. Para la excursión todos los ayudantes están bienvenidos,  vamos a comenzar a prepáranos para salir a las 10:45 A.M. Cuando regresamos los niños que compraron el libro anual de fotos los van a recibir.  Después de la escuela a las 2:00 en la cafetería habrá un recepción para que los niños firmen sus libros. El jueves a las 8:45 A.M. habrá una asamblea para reconocer los niños de TK, K y Primero. El jueves en la noche a las 6:00 es la ceremonia de graduación para los alumnos de sexto grado. El viernes no solamente es el día de campo sino día de sombreo y calcetines locos.  Los niños van participar en diferente actividades de las 9:00 hasta las 11:00. Por favor de vestir los niños de color amarillo. En la carpeta de tarea voy mandar un formulario para voluntarios para ayudar con las actividades. También me gustaría tener rebanadas de naranja, galletas de granola y agua para que disfruten los niños a terminar el día de campo. Donaciones para después del día de campo serán agradecidos. El viernes despedimos los niños a las 11:50.  Además vamos estudiar matemáticas de los Maya y hacer un estudio de búhos. La última semana los niños no van a tener tarea pero revisen las carpetas de tarea para notificaciones.  Las calificaciones se mandan al hogar el viernes. 

We have finally arrived to the final week of school. This week we have only four days but full of activities. Tuesday is the honeybee day. First grade will learn about bees and plant a tree in the morning.  At 9:45 30 first grade children will plant a tree with Ms. Ruiz. I'm going to have 17 children from first grade and with some pupils from kindergarten together we will learn about bees. At 10:45 we change, the 30 children with the Ms. Ruiz will learn about bees and the 17 with me are going to plant a tree.  We could use volunteers to help plant trees. Wednesday June 1 we have a field trip to the Petaluma library. We will leave at 11: 00 to walk over to the library, we will then eat lunch at the park next to the library and return to school more or less at 1:40. If you would like the cafeteria to prepare a sack lunch for the field trip please tell me no later then Tuesday, May 31. For the field trip all the chaperones are welcome, we will begin to prepare to leave at 10:45 A.M. When we returned the children who bought the yearbook will receive them. After school at 2:00 in the cafeteria there will be a yearbook signing party. Thursday at 8:45 A.M. will have an awards assembly to recognize the children of TK, K and first. On Thursday night at 6:00 is the graduation ceremony for the sixth grade. Friday is not only field day, but also crazy hat and socks day. The children will participate in different activities from 9:00 until 11:00. Please dress the children in the color of yellow. In the homework folder, I'll send a volunteer sign up form to help with the activities. I'd also like to have orange slices, granola bars and water so the students can enjoy a snack at the end of field day. Donations for after the field day are appreciated. On Friday school ends at 11:50. In addition, we will study Mayan mathematics and learn about owls. Report cards go home on Friday.
