Última semana de abril

La tema de lectura de la semana es ¡puedes hacerlo! Las palabras de ortografía  son palabras con las letras /gr/ o /gl/. Vamos leer dos versiones de los tres cerditos y después escribir una opinión quien esta diciendo la verdad los cerditos o el lobo feroz.   Para matemáticas estamos repasando sumas y restas hasta 20. En ciencia estamos aprendiendo sobre hábitats.  Toda la semana va a ver una feria de libros en la biblioteca. La feria apoya nuestra biblioteca y es una buena oportunidad de comprar libros de alta cualidad en español y inglés.  El viernes en la mañana a las 10:45 A.M. tenemos una asamblea, están invitados a este concierto de Juan Sánchez  será en la cafetería. The theme for language arts this week is You can do it!. The spelling list consists of words with either the letter blends/GR/ or /GL/. We will be reading two versions of The Three Little Pigs, then writing an opinion piece about who is telling the truth, the three pigs or the big bad wolf. For math we are reviewing addition and subtraction up to 20. In science we are studying different habitats. All week there will be a book fair in the library.  The book fair supports our library and is a good opportunity to purchase quality books in Spanish and English. On Friday at 10:45 A.M. we have an assembly, everyone is invited to hear Juan Sánchez in concert.  Through out the week in small groups, the children will be taking the school district STAR test for math and reading.  Here is the link to the spelling words on quizlet https://quizlet.com/_o958b.
