Regreso a la escuela/Back to School

La primera semana complete escolar nos espera.  El horario de primer grado es diferente de kínder, el recreo merienda no es hasta las 10:30 A.M.  Cuando llega la  hora de recreo los niños tiene hambre. Es muy importante que los niños desayune bien y vengan a la escuela con una merienda. Este año no hay desayuno de segundo oportunidad durante el recreo. Si gustan que los niños reciban desayuno de la escuela hay que llegar antes de las 8:20. También pueden sacar desayuno y guardarlo para más tarde durante el recreo.  Por favor de devolver los sobres de información escolar lo más pronto posible, el primer salón que entregue los sobres completados ganara paletas. El permiso de tecnología que esta en el sobre es importante que lo devuelvan porque sin el permiso los niños no pueden presentar el examen de lectura en las tabletas iPad.  La próxima tres semanas durante lectura vamos a repasar los sonidos de las letras para matemáticas vamos estudiar contando por 2 y 5. Esta semana voy a mandar tarea a la casa. La tarea es repaso si su niño tiene dificultad con la tarea por favor comunicarse con migo. La tarea esta semana es solamente matemáticas, quiero que los niños lo complete cada noche y regresar a la escuela con la tarea completada. No hay tarea los fines de semana. Voy a necesita voluntarios que puedan prepara las carpetas de tarea y la carpeta del viernes cada mañana. Por favor mándame un correo electrónico si puedes ayudar con las carpetas de tarea.  Voy necesita un padre de la aula para coordinar voluntarios y fiestas. No se olviden la Noche del regreso a la escuela es martes el 25 de agosto a las 6:00 P.M.
The first complete week of school is coming up.  The schedule for first grade is different then kindergarten, recess/snack is not until 10:30 A.M. When recess arrives the students are hungry and need a snack. Please make sure that your child has a good breakfast and a snack for recess. This year there is no second chance breakfast, if you want your child to get breakfast from the cafeteria they need to arrive before 8:20 A.M. Students can also bring their breakfast to class to eat later at recess. Remember to return the school information envelopes, first class to return all completed forms will win a Popsicle party. In addition students will not be able to take the STAR reading test on the iPads until the technology permission form is completed.  The next three weeks for language arts we will review the alphabet and phonetic sounds. For math we will learn to skip count by 2 and 5. This will be the first week for homework, I’ll send a homework folder home Monday through Thursday for students to complete and return the following morning. This week I’m sending only math homework, remember homework is review, if you child is having difficulty with the homework please let me know. I’m going to need a volunteer every morning to prepare the homework and Friday folder. Please email me if you can help with the homework folders.  I’m also going to need a room parent to coordinate volunteers and parties. Don’t forget Tuesday Augusto 25 at 6:00 P.M. is back to school night.
