En sus marcas, listo... ¡Ya!/ On your mark, ready, go!

Esta semana, el viernes, por la primera vez vamos al salón de ciencias. Vamos a ir cada otra semana los viernes.  En matemáticas vamos tener un examen el martes sobre los números hasta 12. El miércoles comenzamos a estudiar compara y ordenar números. Durante la semana unos de los niños van a tomar la prueba de Accelerated Reader (AR). AR es un programa de lectura por computadora la prueba y el programa será en español.La tema de lectura para la semana es todas las personas se mueven a su manera. Por favor de no olvidar de firmar el formulario de Super Lector. Si no han entregado el formulario de permiso para la excursión por favor de entregarlo antes del 30 de septiembre.   También esta semana nos visitan nuestros amigos de lectura de la Secundaria Kenilworth. This week on Friday we visit the science lab for the first time this year. We will go to the science lab every other Friday. On Tuesday in mathematics we will have a test on numbers up to 12. On Wednesday we start to study comparing and ordering numbers. During the week some students will be taking a test for the Accelerated Reading program (AR). AR is a computer reading program, the students will be working with in Spanish. Our reading theme is everybody moves in their own way. The spelling list focus is on the /t/ and /p/ sound and we study the sequence of events in a story. Please remember to sign the Super Lector homework next to “Firma de padres.” Don’t forget to return your field trip permission slips before September 30.
