Nota para la semana del 14 de abril

Esta semana el tema de lectura es “¡Puedes hacerlo!” Para matemáticas seguimos estudiando  medición.  El lunes seguimos con clase de educación física con el nuevo maestro. Tambien el jueves vamos a salón de ciencia. Esta semana vamos aprender una nueva canción, una versión de Guajira Guantanamera. Para prepáranos para la excursión a Pt. Reyes vamos seguir estudiando sobre pájaros enfocándonos en aves de presa. Vamos hacer un investigación sobre lo que comen los búhos. Los estudios de pájaros también lo está haciendo el salón de la Maestra Fernández conmigo en ingles.  Quiero dar las gracias a todos los padres que se inscribieron para ayudar con la excursión, ¡tenemos diez! ¡No se olviden que el próximo lunes el 21 de abril no hay clase! Aquí está el enlace a las palabras de ortografía http://quizlet.com/_o958b.

This week’s theme for language arts is “I can do it” The spelling words focus on blends with vowels preceded by /gl/ or /gr/. For math we continue to study measurement.  Monday we continue P.E. with the new teacher. This week we will start to learn a new song, a version of Guajira Guantanamera. In preparation for our field trip to Pt. Reyes we will continue learning about birds focusing on birds of prey. This week we will investigate what owls eat. The lessons on birds are also being presented to Ms Fernandez class during English science. Thursday we visit our science lab.  Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to chaperone, we have 10! Don’t forget there is no school on Monday April 21!
