Nota de la semana/Weekly note

¡Tenemos mucho para hacer en los cuatro días de la semana! El tema de lectura es equipos de animales, vamos a tener nuestra prueba de escribir el jueves. Los niños van a llevar una bolsa a la casa por favor de devolver la bosa un objeto para describir. Quiero que los niños regresen con su objeto el miércoles, y dejar el objeto en la escuela hasta después de la prueba que será el jueves. Por favor no manden un objeto valioso a la escuela. También el jueves tenemos un examen en matemáticas sobre comparar y ordenar números hasta 100. El viernes comenzamos a estudiar sumas hasta 20. Voy a comenzar a devolver los exámenes en las carpetas de tarea en vez del sobre del viernes, así ustedes sabrán los resultados más pronto. Siempre voy a mandar la tarea completada en el sobre de viernes. Deseamos comenzar un jardín, tenemos dos voluntarios, pero podríamos usar más. Si usted está interesado, comuníquese conmigo. In the four days we have this week, we have a lot to do! The theme for language arts this week is animals working as a team. The spelling words focus on syllables with combination of a vowel with either /L/ or /S/. On Thursday we have our district writing test. This week the children are taking an empty bag home, please return this bag with an object, so that the children may write a description of the object. I want the children to return with the object on Wednesday, we will go over descriptive vocabulary that day and the children will write their descriptions on Thursday. The object remains at school until we are done with the test on Thursday. Please do not send anything valuable to school.  Also, on Thursday we have a math test on comparing and ordering numbers to 100. On Friday we start to study addition to 20.  I am going to start sending graded test in the homework folder, so that you may have the results sooner. I will still send the completed homework in the Friday envelopes. We hope to start a garden, we have two volunteers, but we could use more. Please contact me if you are interested.
