Esta semana vamos leer y escribir un sobre las abejas. La lista de ortografía consiste en palabras con  /LL/. En matemáticas seguimos estudiando geometría, vamos a tener una prueba el jueves. También el jueves vamos a trabajar en el jardín. Para el paseo escolar el miércoles vamos a salir un poco después de las 8:30. Por favor asegura llegar a tiempo a la escuela. Los estudiantes necesitarán traer una merienda para la excursión. Es conveniente y más fácil si los estudiantes tienen una merienda separado de su almuerzo. El viernes para el Día de San Valentín los estudiantes decorarán bolsas para sus tarjetas de San Valentín, también harán una corona. Los estudiantes intercambiarán tarjetas de San Valentín. Si decide enviar a su hijo a la escuela con tarjetas de San Valentín, por favor traiga una por cada estudiante. Hay 25 estudiantes en la clase. Además, no escriba nombres individuales en las tarjetas, es más fácil para los estudiantes distribuir las tarjetas sin nombres. Tenemos un cambio en nuestro horario, nuestro tiempo semanal para visitar la biblioteca será ahora martes por la tarde. This week we are going to read and write about bees. The spelling list consists of words with the letters /LL/. In mathematics we will continue to study geometry, the students have a quiz on Thursday. Thursday is also our garden day. For the field trip on Wednesday we will leave shortly after 8:30, please arrive at school on time. The students will need to have a snack for the field trip. It is convenient if the students have a snack separate from their lunch. On Friday for Valentine Day the students will decorate bags for their Valentine cards, they will also make a wreath. In the afternoon, the students will exchange Valentine Cards. If you choose to send your child to school with Valentine Cards, please bring one for every student. There are 25 students in the class. Also, do not write individual names on the cards, it is easier for the students to distribute the cards without names. Remember Tuesday is our new day to visit the library. 100 Cien

Gracias a todos por devolver los formularios de intención de regresar. Fuimos la primera clase de devolver todos los formularios. Esta semana vamos leer y escribir un párrafo sobre las estaciones. La lista de ortografía consiste en palabras con  /Ch/. En matemáticas seguimos estudiando geometría, pero nuestro enfoque será en figuras de tres dimensiones. El martes es el día cien de escuela. Los niños no necesitan traer un proyecto de 100 días. Completaremos proyectos de 100 días en clase. Tenemos un cambio en nuestro horario, nuestro tiempo semanal para visitar la biblioteca será ahora martes por la tarde. Esta semana enviare el formulario de permiso para el paseo escolar al Luther Burbank Center que será el miércoles 12 de febrero. La PTA ha extendido el plazo para donaciones para las cestas temáticas del recaudación de fondos de primavera. He colocado una canasta en el aula para donaciones. The students do not need to bring a 100^th day project. We will complete 100^th day projects in class. Música otra vez

Esta semana vamos leer y escribir un párrafo sobre animales marinos. La lista de ortografía consiste en palabras  /Ñ/, o /Y/. En matemáticas seguimos estudiando geometría, en figuras de dos dimensiones. El miércoles vamos a tener clase de música por la primera vez con el maestro Contreras. La clase se ganó una película y fiesta de palomitas, por su participación en el Fun Run. Viernes los niños verán la película, además será día de pijama, los niños pueden venir vestidos en pijamas. El viernes voy a tener un suplente. Debido que la presentación de la película será durante el horario en que normalmente visitamos la biblioteca, vamos a ir a la biblioteca el martes por la tarde.
