Madre, Mamá, Mami

Para está semana la lista de ortografía consiste en palabras con  sílabas cerradas con /gl/ o /gr/. Los niños van a escribir una opinión sobre el libro Los gatos vs los perros.  Para matemáticas vamos a seguir estudiando el valor de posición entre el rango de 1-120. Además van escribir una poema. Debido a las pruebas estatales para los grados superiores, nuestra hora de la biblioteca cambiará esta semana. Espero que podamos visitar la biblioteca el martes después del yoga. El jueves es nuestra última vez para trabajar en el jardín con la Sra. Carter. El 10 de mayo primer grado tendrá una celebración para día de la madre. La celebración comenzará a las 11:00. Recomiendo mamás planea llegar a las 10:45 para presentarse en la oficina. Si usted es una mamá que no pueden asistir, a las abuelas, tías o amigos especial de la familia son bienvenidos. For Math we continue to study place value within the range of 1 to 120. Due to state testing for the upper grades our library time will change this week. I’m hoping we can visit the library on Tuesday after yoga. Thursday is our last time to work in the garden with Ms. Carter. On May 10th first grade will have a celebration for Mother's Day. The celebration will begin at 11:00. I recommend moms plan to arrive at 10:45 to sign in at the office. If you are a mom who cannot attend, grandmothers, aunts or special family friends are welcomed. Para matemáticas vamos a seguir estudiando el valor de posición entre el rango de 1-120.  Si no han devuelto el formulario para el paseo escolar a Pt. Reyes por favor de devolverlo lo más pronto posible. El paseo será el jueves 25 de abril. El martes 23 de abril es el concierto de primavera y casa abierta escolar. El concierto será a las 6:00 PM en el Centro Comunitario de Petaluma. La casa abierta será a las 6:45 en la escuela. Durante la semana habrá una feria de libros en la biblioteca. If you have not returned the field trip permission slips for the field trip to Pt. Reyes on Thursday April 25, please  return it as soon as possible. Tuesday April 23 is the Spring Concert and School Open House. The concert will be at 6:00 PM at the Petaluma Community Center. The Open House will be at 6:45 at school.
