Esta
semana el tema de lectura y escritura es Ayudando
familias y vecinos. El énfasis en
ortografía es sobre palabras con /R/ o /RR/. El lunes después del almuerzo los maestros de
primer grado van a tener suplentes. Los maestros van a asistir a una
capacitación. Además el jueves voy estar en la escuela, pero para evaluar los
alumnos en lectura, voy a tener un suplente en la aula. En matemáticas vamos a seguir estudiando sumas
de un dígito y números par o impar. Este jueves nos toca trabajar en el jardín.
El viernes a las 1:30 P.M. vamos a tener centros de arte haciendo obras sobre
día de los muertos. Sería genial tener a cuarto padres para ayudar. No se
olviden viernes en la noche es la celebración escolar de día de los muertos. En
la próxima carpeta del viernes voy a mandar el horario para las conferencias en
noviembre. El martes después del recreo es nuestra cita para tomar fotos. No
solamente nuestra cita es después el recreo también es después de educación
física. Tengo un padre que va ayudar arreglar los niños me gustaría tener un

helping families and neighbors. The emphasis

Monday after lunch the first grade teachers will have substitutes. The teachers
will attend training. Also on Thursday I will be in school, but I will have a
substitute in the classroom, in order to assess the students in reading. In math
we will continue to study one-digit sums and even or odd numbers. This Thursday
we will work in the garden. On Friday at 1:30 P.M. we will have art centers
doing art pieces on day of the dead. It would be great to have four parents to
help. Don't forget Friday night is the school day of the dead celebration. In the
next Friday folder I will send the schedule for conferences in November. Tuesday
after recess is our photo-taking appointment. Not only is our appointment after
recess it is also after physical education. I have a parent who will help straighten
up the kids, I'd like to have one more parent volunteer. Please return
the permission slip for the field trip on October 30. We still need one
chaperone, I will select the chaperone from the first volunteer to return their

matemáticas vamos tener un examen el martes. Después del martes vamos estudiar
sumas de un dígito y números par o impar. El viernes a las 9:00 A.M. vamos a
tener una asamblea, vamos a disfrutar de una obra de teatro. Para padres
interesados acompañarnos al próximo paseo escolar, por favor tenga en cuenta no
podemos acomodar a hermanos menores. Además los acompañantes tendrán que
participar activamente con su grupo de niños. Estamos limitados al número de
entradas gratuitas para adultos, (1 adulto por cada 4 niños). También el

matemáticas en forma de historias. El jueves es nuestro día de jardín, aunque
la semana anterior los niños trabajaron en el jardín con la maestra Carter y el
director Arvizu. El martes las clases de primer grado van a caminar al mercado
de los granjeros. Por favor de mandar los niños a la escuela con zapatos adecuado para caminar. También mándalos a la

resolving 25 addition problems to 10, in 3 minutes or less. Plus, we will write
math word problems. On Thursday it is our turn to work in the garden, although
the children did work in the garden the previous week with Ms. Carter and Mr.
Arvizu. Tuesday the first grade classes will walk over to the Farmers Market.
Please send the students to school with comfortable walking shoes. Additionally,
send them to school with a T-shirt to have under the yellow first grade
