Fin de curso/ End of the School Year

Hemos llegado al fin de curso. Por favor de entregar libros y otras pertenecías de la escuela. El jueves 4 de junio vamos a tener una fiesta de fin de curso con el salón de la Maestra Fernández. La fiesta será de 1:45 hasta 2:45 todos están invitados. En el salón se pueden apuntarse para traer algo para compartir. El último día, el 5 de junio vamos a tener un día de campo con muchas actividades. Tengo un voluntario y necesito uno más para ayudar con las actividades, sería un compromiso de 8:30 hasta 11:30. Se pueden inscribir en el salón, también necesito una donación de 250 popotes/pajitas tamaño grande. Ese día los niños deben vestir de amarillo. El lunes es el último día de la feria de libros en la biblioteca. El martes durante la escuela habrá un recital de canciones en inglés.  No se la hora apenas que lo confirme mandare un correo electrónico. El viernes el último día despedimos a los niños a las 11:50, ese día se entregaran las calificaciones a los niños. La primera ceremonia de graduación de Loma Vista será el jueves a las 5:00 P.M. A sido mi placer ser el maestro de sus niños los deseo muy buenas vacaciones.   


 We have reached the end of the year. If you have any books or other items that belong in school please turn them in. Thursday June 4, we will have an end of the year party with Ms Fernández’s classroom. The party will be from 1:45 to 2:45. A sign-up sheet to bring something to share is in the classroom. Everyone is welcome to come to the party. The last day of school June 5, we will have a field day with many fun activities, the children should dress in yellow.  I have one volunteer for field day and could use another from 8:30 to 11:30. You can sign-up to volunteer in the classroom; I also need a donation of 250 large drinking straws. Monday is the last day of the book fair.  We will be having a music recital on Tuesday, the children will sing in English. The time has yet to be determined for the recital, as soon as I confirm the time I will send out an e-mail. Friday is the last day of school, school is out at 11:50, and the children will receive their report cards on Friday. Thursday at 5:00 P.M. is the first graduation ceremony for Loma Vista.   It has been my pleasure to be the teacher of your children, have a wonderful vacation. 

Casa Arbierta/ Open House

Esta semana es la última que los niños van tener súper lector y tarea. El último día de tarea será el miércoles. No voy a mandar tarea el jueves como esa noche es la Casa Abierta. La Casa Abierta comienza a las 6:00. Los niños van a cantar a las 6:45. Me gustaría tener los niños en el salón a las 6:30 para prepáranos para cantar. Durante la Casa Abierta habrá una feria de libros en la biblioteca y pueden visitar las aulas. En matemáticas el miércoles habrá una prueba de matemáticas sobre sumas y restas de dos dígitos y decenas. This is the last week for home work and Super Lector. The last day for homework will be Wednesday. I will not send homework on Thursday since that night is open house. Open House begins at 6:00. The children will sing at 6:45, I would like to have the children in the classroom by 6:30 so that we can prepare to sing.  During the Open House there will be a book fair in the library and you can visit the classrooms.  In math we will have a test on Wednesday on addition and subtraction of double digits and by tens.
